What kind of server does Lockdown work with?
Lockdown requires a Apache web server (Linux, Mac or WIndows) with a configuration that 'allowoverride all'
This is the default configuration for Apache and most web servers support it.
A quick way to test at least some parts of it are to use the handy server test at loghound.com
The one tricky thing is it is possible to configure apache in a way that will not work with lockdown -- it's rare but I do come across it -- that's why I really recommend people try before they buy .
